Dear Our Community,
February is fast approaching and I'm eagerly looking forward to create-a-thing-a-day! In case anyone is curious, an artist by the name of Keri Smith (one of my favorite artists) started create-a-thing-a-day, which has mainly been an online community of artists encouraging each other to create something everyday (she has a blog called Wish Jar or you can google Keri Smith). I personally have never succeeded in accomplishing this feet, but look forward to creating with the community and being inspired by the creating that will happen. Perhaps I will finally achieve my goal with the support of the community.
Upcoming creations to look forward to at the OCP in our first creative week: On Tuesday Feb. 1st, we will be creating a poster for OCP to get everyone excited about all we can create. other upcoming known creations : poetry lessons with Rahni and kite making lessons with Mario. Mario will also be teaching us how to crochet (something I've always wanted to learn).
